Refund policy
Sol Refill LLC (“Sol Refill,” or “we,” or “us”) strives to be fair in permitting Product order cancellations and returns under limited circumstances.
Our Return & Cancellation Policy (“RCP”) contains mandatory terms and conditions regarding your acceptance of Products and your limited rights to cancellations, refunds, and returns in connection with your order for Products, as well as our container return policy.
Every time you access our Services, you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this RCP, as well as other Sol Refill terms and policies. Similarly, the same definitions and capitalized terms set forth in the Terms of Service herein apply. Please also see our FAQs on our Site for more details on ordering and our operational policies.
If you do not fully and completely agree with the RCP, or any other Sol Refill policy, you must stop using our Services immediately and cease from all further use.
All Sales Final
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT, EXCEPT AS HEREIN PROVIDED, ALL PRODUCT SALES ARE MADE ON A ONE-WAY BASIS; YOU HAVE NO ADDITIONAL RIGHT TO CANCEL AN ORDER, RETURN A PRODUCT, OR RECEIVE A REFUND OR CREDIT FOR A PRODUCT PURCHASE.
Return of Reusable Containers
Our model relies on returning and reusing containers in order to create a more sustainable world and business. After you have received your order from Sol Refill and accepted and used the Products, please return your empty container(s) via one of the two following ways:
- Set out your container(s) by 8 am on your next scheduled delivery day and it will be picked up when your new order is dropped off
- You can return your container(s) at any authorized pickup/drop-off location detailed on our Site.
Once your returned container(s) are processed by Sol Refill, a $1 reward will be applied to your Sol Refill account. Awards can be accessed by clicking on the “Returns” button, entering your email address, and then receiving a promo code to be used during checkout equal to your awards amount.
If you don’t plan to order from Sol Refill again, please use our scheduling feature on the Site to schedule a free pick-up of your container(s).
Sol Refill reserves the right to charge additional container fees for large numbers of unreturned container(s) and to change its container return policies and fees.
Non-Conforming Goods
You agree that you shall inspect all Products within three (3) hours of receipt of the Products (“Inspection Period”) and either accept or reject such Products; provided, you shall be considered to have accepted any Product upon the unpacking or removal of said Product from its original or Sol Refill packaging. You may only reject a Product if it does not conform to the brand, item, or amount listed in your purchase confirmation at the end of the checkout process or upon purchase (“Nonconforming Products”). Note that because we sell and use natural products the color, size, or other variations may occur between the images on our Site and the Products delivered. These are not considered defects or Nonconforming Products.
You acknowledge and agree that you will have accepted your delivery unless you notify Sol Refill in writing of any Nonconforming Products during the Inspection Period and furnish such written evidence or other documentation as reasonably required by Sol Refill. If you timely notify Sol Refill of any Nonconforming Products, we shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether you may return or coordinate a pick up of the Products back to Sol Refill – at your own expense, to the extent legally permitted. If upon return, Sol Refill confirms the Products are Nonconforming Products, we shall reimburse you for any shipping costs, if applicable, incurred in returning the Nonconforming Products and, in its sole discretion, either: (i) replace such Nonconforming Products with conforming Products, (ii) provide you with a credit for future purchases.
You acknowledge and agree that the remedies herein described are your exclusive remedies and represent Sol Refill's sole and maximum liability relating to the delivery of Nonconforming Products.
Non–Delivery of Products
Sol Refill shall not be liable for any non-delivery of Products, unless you or your authorized representative gives written notice to Sol Refill of non-delivery within the earlier of:
Two (2) business days after a Product delivery is incomplete or twenty-four (24) hours late.
At Sol Refill's sole discretion, any liability of Sol Refill for non-delivery of the Products shall be limited to either: (a) delivering the undelivered Products within a reasonable timeframe; or (b) refunding amounts for such undelivered Products to reflect the actual quantity delivered, if any. You acknowledge and agree that the remedies herein described are your exclusive remedies and represent Sol Refill’s sole and maximum liability relating to the non-Delivery of Products.
Sol Refill is not liable if Sol Refill confirms Product(s) were delivered and Product(s) were stolen, damaged, missing between delivery and actual receipt by you.
Our Right to Cancel an Order
Sol Refill may cancel your Product Purchase at any tTime, for any reason.
Sol Refill reserves the right to decline or cancel part or all of your Product order at any time, for any reason, with or without cause and/or prior notice. If Sol Refill elects to cancel your purchase in whole or in part, through no fault on your end, Sol Refill will refund all amounts charged in a reasonable timeframe.
Liability and Warranties
Except in relation to Nonconforming Product(s) as detailed above, you are liable for the Product(s) once delivered/dropped off to you. Sol Refill is not liable for any damage or loss of items once delivered.
To the extent allowed, Sol Refill shall not be responsible for product defects.
TO THE EXTENT LEGALLY PERMITTED: SOL REFILL DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, AND WE WILL NOT REFUND OR REPLACE A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
However, a Product that you purchase may be accompanied by a manufacturer’s warranty. You acknowledge and agree that, to the extent legally permitted, all matters relating to any manufacturer’s warranty run strictly between you and the manufacturer; to the extent you wish to receive warranty coverage, you agree to follow the instructions included in the manufacturer’s warranty, if any, to obtain warranty service, including but not limited to, as warranty services relate to any Product defects.
